In a moment out of time, Talisman came alive and was born

In precious stone it found its home, upon an elemental throne
Holding keys to the unknown, a worthy pendant for mortal bones

In a symbol of eternal jest, I carved its outer flesh
To find a place upon my neck, to lay its grace upon my breast

I've been hurting for so long, I've been losing my faith
This cold, hard reality is feeling mighty profane
I've been starving for meaning - a heart in nature's embrace
And at times I wish that lightning would take me out of this place
And the toil nearly broke me, that blank staring abyss
But an ignite in my soul of light, began a magical shift
Then my heart tore wide open, emblazed in spiritual bliss
Then it beamed pure willpower into this stone in my fist
